1 cup butter flavored Crisco
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 ¼ cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 ½ cups Plain M&Ms (red & green Christmas package)

Heat oven to 375 degrees.

Beat sugars and shortening in large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.

Blend in eggs and vanilla, and add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix Well.

Stir in 1 1/2 cups M&Ms and drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Press 2 or 3 additional candies in each cookie.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
