
Remove insert pan out of the roaster and pre-heat to highest setting.
Remove neck and giblets from turkey cavity. Place turkey in insert pan and fold wings under bird. Stuff bird with stuffing.
Rub bird with butter. Doctor up bird with seasonings.
Put bird in preheated roaster. Roast on highest setting for 30 minutes.
Turn roaster down to 325 degrees. Use the butterball cooking chart for timings. Turkey is done with the thigh temp is 180 degrees and breast is 170 degrees. (15lb turkey, 4-4.5 hours)
