Nana Jo’s Bean Soup & Dumplings

Yields1 Serving
 15 oz can pinto beans
 15 oz can navy beans
 15 oz can great northern beans
 1 tsp onion salt
 10 dumplings (recipe in directions)

Combine beans and onion salt in large stock pot and bring to boil.

In small bowl mix 1 cup flour, 2 tsp baking powder & 1/2 tsp. salt.

Add 1/2 cup milk, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil and stir until moistened.

Drop from tablespoon atop bubbling bean soup. Cover tightly and let mixture return to boil.

Reduce heat but don't lift lid or will deflate dumplings. Simmer 12-15 minutes.
